IKUWA3: Registrations are open!
The 3rd International Congress on Underwater
Archaeology is to be held at University College London from 10-12
July 2008. The Congress will be preceded by a 3-day professional
development field school, and followed by excursions including a

SOMAP Monograph
Over ten years' diving and survey work by
dedicated amateurs (largely NAS members) is brought together
in this detailed record of the underwater heritage of the
Sound of Mull. The monograph includes the Thesis, an
iconic UK underwater wreck site, alongside
studies of less well known sites such as the John Preston.

NAS supports 'Shared Heritage' Seminar
Organised by English Heritage and the
University of Wolverhampton, ‘Shared
Heritage’ will focus on joint responsibilities in the
management of British Warship wrecks overseas. Case studies will
include the management of sites in Argentina, Australia, South
Africa and the United States. The seminar will be held on the 8th
July 2008, at the University of Wolverhampton. Follow the link

International Journal of Nautical Archaeology
If you do not already subscribe to IJNA, why
not give it a try? Published twice a year, with over 200 pages
per issue, it has lots of illustrations, some in colour. Covering
from prehistory to the present, anywhere in the world, there is
something for everyone. And as well as articles there are book
reviews to guide and inform your reading. A real bargain.
